It is said that Keds created the first shoe with a soft rubber sole, so quiet you could 'sneak' up on your boyfriend. Now, about 90 years later, Keds still makes these classics sneakers and has found a lot of competition in derivatives like Vans, Sperry Top-Siders and Sabago models.
The simple all white sneaker called 'The Champion' got the appreciating of the famous Audrey H., Marilyn M. and Jackie O. If that doesn't count...they are still pretty pretty and pretty cheap as well (around 50,- USD).
So girlies...get your pair. You might go for the pastels and start planning that road-trip.
