'You never actually own a Patek Phillipe, you merely look after it for the next generation.'

A monumental example of good advertising: the Patek Philippe Generations Campaign.

I used to see this campaign on the back of the National Geographic, another monument. 

This is the way advertisement campaigns should be, at least for brands such as Patek. 

So go and wear the old corduroy trousers of your granddad (even though it doesn't fit really well), and attend that philosophy course at Leiden University
